Further connected tours:
Starting at the carpark Zipfhäusl, the almost level path takes you in the direction of the Berggasthof Gerstreit and further on to the Berggaststätte Söldenköpfl. Thanks to its sunny, south-facing location, the path is a worthwhile destination for leisurely walks all year round. On one of Ramsau’s most popular walks, original wooden pipes and information boards illustrate how brine once flowed from the Berchtesgaden salt mine to the salt works in Bad Reichenhall. High above the mountaineering village, the trail offers magnificent views of the Wimbach valley with the Watzmann and Hochkalter. The path leads past a small waterfall, over wooden footbridges, and forest areas along extended sunny stretches. The restaurants along the way perfectly round off this beautiful winter hike. The same route leads back to the carpark Zipfhäusl.
