Further connected tours:
The circular hike starts at the carpark Seeklause, first crosses the Klause, which regulates the outflow of the Ramsauer Ache here, and follows the Prinzregent Luitpold Weg along the lake shore. On the signposted themed trail, display boards show a section of the work of 19th century painters. With gigantic views of the steeply rising peaks, it quickly becomes clear why artists and painters were magically drawn to this idyllic landscape. Keeping left at all forks in the path takes you to the other side of the lake, where cafés and inns invite you to stop. From midday, the sun shines here for a relatively long time through the gap between the Hochkalter and the Reiteralm. Spending time here provides for wonderful winter experiences. The circular route continues to the western shore of the Hintersee and finally back to the starting point.
