The newly established, approximately 2,3km long natural toboggan run in Hochschwarzeck Ramsau by Berchtesgaden is a total success! The toboggan run begins at an altitude of 1390m right at the mountain station of the Hirscheck chairlift and rapidly leads downhill descending 400m in altitude. Numerous curves provide for a fun and eventful ride that finishes at the valley station of the Hirscheck chairlift at 1000m above sea level. Snow cats regularly maintain and groom the run. The use of the toboggan run itself is free of charge, so even those who do not use the chairlift and walk up the wonderful winter path, do not have to do without tobogganing fun afterwards. The toboggan run is intended exclusively for tobogganists and there are no ski tourers, pedestrians, or skiers on the run. This makes the run especially suitable for beginners, families with children, school classes and other groups. Tobogganing legend Schorsch Hackl was involved in the development of the route profile and significantly contributed with his experience. The result is a toboggan run, that offers a sporting activity in a beautiful, natural setting with plenty of fun and adventure.
