Hiking stage 10 is primarily intended as an ascent or descent from the Soleleitungsweg but can also be executed as a round trip in combination with hiking stage 9. From (P)+(H), cross the B305 and follow Kederbacherstraße uphill until you reach Preisenlehen, then turn right down to the Roßhofschmiede property, continue along the footpath along the road. Here, the old spring house still stands. Until this point, the brine from the Berchtesgaden salt mine ran solely due to pressure equalization. From the spring house, the brine was pumped up 330 m to the elevated tank on Söldenköpfl, which was a masterstroke at the time. The so-called Reichenbach pump can still be visited in the salt mine today. Continue to the Bachmannweg in Ilsank, uphill on this path, later Klinggraben up to Berggasthof Söldenköpfl.
Alternative according to GPX data: The orientation for the extremely rewarding alternative is somewhat difficult to find (signpost Salzalpensteig). Follow a steep meadow and forest path uphill to Vierradweg. Here, a brief deviation to the left to the Bachmann Chapel. The resting benches in front of the chapel reward with a magnificent view. Back on the Vierradweg, the path continues on the opposite on a wide sandy path (signpost Söldenkopfl/Soleleitungsweg) without a major incline until reaching Klinggraben and further upwards to the mountain inn Söldenköpfl.
All hiking stages are described as a single route, which can be chosen for the same return route, follow-up tour or bus use.
