Further connected tours:
The Wartstein is a rather inconspicuous but very charming elevation with a beautiful view of Hintersee and the surrounding mountains. There are also many cultural highlights along the way that are worth discovering. From the starting point, turn right around Hintersee to Alte Hinterseer Straße, turn left here and after 100m, turn right onto trail no. 62 to Wartstein. The small summit plateau surprises with a great view. Just below the summit, you will find Magdalene Chapel, hidden away in a rock niche where people sought refuge in earlier times. Continue towards Bindenkreuz to Triebenbachstraße and Alte Reichenhaller Straße, and immediately turn left onto trail no. 64 to Kunterwegkirche, which soon appears hidden in the forest.
All hiking stages are described as a single route, which can be chosen for the same return route, follow-up tour, or bus use.
