The combination of hiking the Soleleitungsweg and crossing the Toter Mann and Hirscheck summit regions is undoubtedly one of the most scenic tours in the Ramsau basin. From the Hochschwarzeck (P), the route first leads down the Wagenhüttweg access road to the Soleleitungsweg. High above the valley and almost flat, the path winds along the ridge of the mountain over Gerstreit to the Söldenköpfl. A cozy stop at one of the restaurants is a pleasant interruption. Now begins the ascent to the Toter Mann and its neighboring peak, the Hirscheck. Down the normal route back to Hochschwarzeck, the tour is completed. If desired, the tour can be shortened by use of the chairlift.
