Trail:

Follow the trail uphill to the right coming from the parking lot. Follow the signs towards Mordaualm on the gravelled drive.

Starting Point:

Parking area Taubensee (an der Alpenstraße, 83486 Ramsau)

By car:

Coming from Berchtesgaden take the B305 towards Traunstein. The parking space is located a few hundred meters in front of the restaurant "Wirtshaus Wachterl", on both sides.

Description

The Mordaualm (alpine pasture) is located at 1200 meters height at the foot of the Lattengebirge (mountain). Two farmers, one each from the mountaineering village Ramsau and Bischofswiesen manage the two Kaser (alpine dairies) on the Mordau.
The Mordaualm can be reached quick by foot or mountain bike the from the parking lot Taubensee.
