Follow the road from lake Hintersee through the Klausbach valley until you reach Bindalm, Hirschbichl and last the Litzlalm.

Coming from Berchtesgaden towards Ramsau, follow the road to lake Hintersee.
Located on a height between 1.300 and 1.500 meters lies the cultivated area of Litzlalm and Litzlwiese with a size of around 2 km². This area is shared by 8 dairy farmers (4 from St. Martin by Lofer, 3 from Weißbach at Lofer and 1 from Bischofswiesen) in the summer months, with up to 90 cattle.
Because of its magnificent location and the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, especially on the Mühlsturzhörner, the Litzlalm served as a location for many home movies. In the center of the Litzlalm is a so called "Jausenstation", in Austrian mountains these huts offer a special forms of local snacks.
