Take the path west of the parking area Schwarzbachwacht (889m) that leads to Neue Traunsteiner Hütte, after a few minutes it heads down right to the Schwarzbachalmen, a Niederalm (pre-alpine area) of several alpine dairy farmers from the communities Ramsau, Bischofswiesen and Schneizlreuth.
Worth seeing is the "Schwarzbachloch", the origin of the Schwarzbach, a karst spring which is impressive to look at after heavy rainfall .
