By foot around 4 hours
Departure:
Parking area Klausbachhaus (Hirschbichlstr. 26, 83486 Ramsau)
The "largest pasture" in the Berchtesgaden Alps is historically part of the Berchtesgaden religious foundation and today still a Bavarian enclave on Austrian soil. The alpine farmers run their own dairy on the alpine pasture as well.
The artificially created Dießbachstausee (lake) below the pasture which flooded the former Dießbachalm is worth a sight.
Take the AlmErlebnisBus from the parking area Hirschbichl to the bus stop "Kallbrunn Abzw". Follow the signs to the Kallbrunnalm.
