From the parking area Wimbachbrücke turn left across the small river and right behind the bridge turn right on the hiking trail (No. 441), which leads steeply through the forest alongside the Wimbach (river) to a forest road. Follow the sign post to Watzmannhaus fom here, first we reach the Stubenalm then the Mitterkaseralm. Now continue uphill to the beautiful Falzalm (unmanaged).
