The Stubenalm is located below the Watzmannhaus, and can be passed on the regular route. If you take a break here, you will be rewarded with a really beautiful alpine pasture, which offers a great view of Ramsau in the directions of Reiteralpe and Hochschwarzeck.
On the Stubenalm are two apine dairies, so-called Kaser and a service hut. Hikers and mountaineers can stop for a bite to eat at the two dairies, snacks and drinks provide a refreshment.
