The Schapbachalm is located slightly below the Kühroint between lake Königssee and Watzmann mountain. The pasture is traditionally farmed, with an in-house cheese production to be sold to hungry hikers, climbers or mountain bikers. Yet the focus of the alpine summer on the Schapbachalm is cattle.
