Right above Hirschbichl lies the Litzlalm, it is popular with hikers and mountain bikers. A snack station on the pasture provides the proper food.
Located between 1.300 and 1.500 meters altitude, about 2 km ² in size is the pasture area of the Litzlalm and Litzlwiese. This area is shared in the summer months by 8 dairy famers (4 from St. Martin near Lofer, 3 from Weißbach near Lofer and 1 from Bischofswiesen) with their up to 90 head of cattle.
Because of its magnificent location and the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, especially towards the Mühlsturzhörner, the Litzlalm served as a location for many regional movies.
