The magical Zauberwald is a geological peculiarity which was created by a giant rock fall 3500 years ago. It counts as one of the 100 most beautiful geotopes in Bavaria. The path along the wildly rushing Ramsauer Ache leads between boulders, moss-covered trees, roots, and rare plants to the Hintersee. The walk can be extended via an educational nature trail.
