Hiking, skiing, or racing down the Hirscheckblitz with the sleigh – In summer or winter, Toter Mann (1390m) and Hirscheck are the perfect destination for the entire family – whether with hiking boots, snowshoes, skis or sleighs. It’s worth visiting the mountain restaurant Hirschkaser where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains as well as many culinary delights.

Not far from there on the peak of the Toter Mann is the oldest shelter hut of the Berchtesgadener Land, the Bezoldhütte (no hospitality service). The historical background of the hut can be read from the information board inside. The legend of the Toter Mann (Dead Man) is told on a plaque on the outside of the hat.

The use of the Hirscheck chairlift is possible for hikers, skiers and tobogganists with their sleighs.
