Ramsau is situated in the south east of Bavaria, a province in Germany.

Travelling by car:  Take the A8 motorway from Munich to Salzburg. Exit at Bad Reichenhall and continue along the B20 via Bad Reichenahll and Bischofswiesen. Turn off for Ramsau onto the B305.

Travelling by train:Take a train via  Munich and Freilassing and onto Berchtesgaden train station. There is a regular bus service from Berchtesgaden to Ramsau and a taxi rank at the station.

Air travel:The closest airport is Salzburg.Many low cost airlines fly into Salzburg.
