:: Eckau ::

Starting point: Parkplatz Pfeiffenmacherbrücke
End: Eckaualm
Distance: 3200 m
Altitude covered: 300 m

This run starts at the Pfeffenmacher car park, just a few hundred metres behind the village centre, and takes you along the northern slopes of the Steinberg to the Eckaualm. This is a good place to watch ski mountaineers making their way through the powder snow of the Hochalm.
After a little rest you can look forward to coasting back down to the valley on the well-groomed toboggan run.

:: Hirscheck ::

warming winter sun and the perfect panorama!

Starting point: Parkplatz am Cafe Schwarzeck
End: Hirscheck (auch mit der Sesselbahn erreichbar)
Distance: 3500 m
Altitude covered: 360 m

We start our sledging tour at the Schwarzeck car park.
The man-made path makes a pleasant ascent to Hirscheck, taking advantage of its sunny location and magnificent views over the surrounding mountains.

At the summit we could stop at the Hirschkaser mountain restaurant and enjoy the incredible view.

And if you fancy the easy option, how about taking the chairlift which goes right up to the summit?

Tip: the chairlift offers reasonably priced points cards especially for sledgers and has toboggans for hire too!
